About
Resident tree enthusiast. Learning to identify local plants and bugs. Likes hiking, biking, and the little things in life.
Learning American Sign Language. Limited vocabulary, but trying their best.
Recognition
- Minimal or odd speech; struggles with words. Tends to need support from someone else inside to get sentences out. Prefers to rely on gesture or sign language (we're trying to learn more for them) as much as possible.
- Heavy stimming, more blinking or staring, mouth slightly open in resting position. Looking around at everything except except your eyeballs.
- Very sensory-seeking, but also easy to overwhelm with too much input.
- Fascinated by nature: plants, animals, etc. Also fond of looking for cool rocks or playing board and card games.
- Over text: little to no punctuation, "OK" instead of "okay", short or simple sentences.
The True Name
Fluttering fingers,
the crunch and mustiness of leaf piles,
notification sounds and cat mimicry.

moss under your fingers.
